Volunteers
from our community are what keep the Samaritan Center
open and successful. In order to run a smooth and efficient meal

and old.

If
you are
looking for a community service opportunity for yourself or a group that you
are involved with then we have a job for you! During the week we have
our own small staff to prepare the food during the day.
Volunteers arrive in the afternoon to assist us in serving the meal.
This is a great way to get community services hours
completed! We
can always use more hands to help us with preparing as well. |

If
you are a part of a group, and want a fun
and
challenging
experience, then maybe you’d
like to serve one of our weekend or holiday meals!
Various church and civic groups
volunteer
throughout the year to purchase, prepare and
serve the
meal for our
guests. It is an excellent way of bringing people
together
for the good
of
others.

Test your skills
and join us in our kitchen as one of our “Guest
Chefs”. This special
program allows community members and corporations the opportunity to
spend part of their day at the Samaritan Center cooking a meal for our
guests. It's tons of fun, great team building and allows you to have
hands on experience in our kitchen with our very own 'Chef Dan'!

Have you ever
thought about how easy it would be to plant a few extra vegetables in
your garden and then donate
them to the
Samaritan Center? Or, for all of you who like to party, you can
continue to do so and raise money for the Samaritan Center at the same
time! If you are having a catered event and have too many leftovers,
why not donate them to the Samaritan Center? Find out about these ideas
and others by clicking on the link below.
